Spiritual Gifts & Opportunities Fair
As a church we want to help you offer your gifts to the body of Christ and the world around us. Each of us have been given passions and spiritual gifts that we get to use to gift and bless those around us.
And, we desire to see everyone stepping into who God has called them to be and finding spaces to serve.
In addition, our church is a family and together we get to contribute to meeting the various needs of our church and communities.

Opportunities Fair
On Sept 22 after church we will be helping create ways to learn more about how you can use your gifts to serve, particularly here at the opportunities that Calvary has and provides. This is meant to help you explore, launch and try things! You won't to have to sign up for a life time commitment. This is a space to explore opportunities, ask questions, or simple try something out.

Here are some short overviews from webpages to help you answer the question "What are spiritual gifts?" Different churches define the spiritual gifts uniquely often because of their church context or background. There are alot of different terms, definitions and reflections on the specific gifts. As you explore, if you find something confusing or want to explore more - we’d love to help you sort through that.
Spiritual Gift Quizes
We encourage you to take one or two of the spiritual gift quizzes. While these will not give us a definitive answer, it helps us reflect and point us in the right direction. This is why taking two of the quizzes may even be more helpful to see any consistent trends. When taking the quizzes, don't overthink and try not to answer 'middle of the road' for too many answers. ​
We will also have a paper copy of a quiz available as well at the welcome center.

Spiritual Gift "Categories"
There are alot of different breakdowns of spiritual gifts. Even in the quizzes you take, you'll see a few different terms and ways things are worded and organized. The following are the ways that we, at Calvary, are going to 'categorize' the different gifts to help us self-identify where we fit and/or how we could serve. This will also be how we organize ourselves at the upcoming Opportunities Fair on Sept 22.
